FRENCH SUMMER SCHOOL: QUOTE
This includes 6 nights half-board accomodation, and 5 days of French
summer school courses and activities.
For children:
There will be 2 groups of approximate ages 6-9, then 10+. Each group
would have their own teacher and their own independent study program
from 1000-1200 each day. Then both groups meet for a picnic lunch
followed by games, visits and joint activities with local French children
in the afternoons.
This will include visits to the local outdoor pool, walks (with a
donkey to carry your picnic and bags), and a visit to the local adventure
park - www.aventuretrieves.com.
At 16:00 each day we all meet back at Prefaucon farm for the afternoon
snack (le goûter) and parents take over.
For adults:
During the same hours parents would either be studying French, or following
their own activities.
Included in the price for children are -
- All accomodation and meals, including 5 picnic lunches.
- 5 mornings, 10-12, teaching by qualified French
teachers
- 5 afternoons, 12-4pm, activities led by qualified French animateurs
(activity leaders).
- All transport and entrance fees.
Included in the price for adults are - a French course:
- FLE qualified teachers (maitrise FLE).
- 3 hrs a day of teaching for 5 days;
15 hours of lessons.
- 1 hrs a day (min) of homework and private study.
- The supply of student
books and CDs. (Usually "Tempo" or "Studio
100")
- A language focus on culture and daily life and also on the specific
technical and commercial French needed by the client.
Included in the price for adults not studying French are:
- Accomodation at Prefaucon farm.
- 5 nights, breakfast and evening meal with the farmer and her husband.
- Collection from (and return to) Clelles railway station.
Not included in the price is:
- anything that is not listed above.
- lunches/picnics on days 1 & 6
Local activity options include:

Prices:
For children, 600 € all inclusive, full board.
For adults following their own activities, with only half-board accomodation,
350 €.
For adults studying French, 3hrs each morning, afternoons free, half-board
accomodation, 650 €.
Dates:
6-12 July (with the French course 7-11 July).
17-23 August (with the French course 18-22 Aug).
(Or a private course is always available for dates of your choice
between June-October).
