2012

Ian - The boys are back again and they have so much to tell ! One story after the other, they are extremely happy and satisfied. It's difficult to find the words to say THANK YOU: to you, (and teacher & ski instructor). They will never forget this vacation!!! They will probably want to go back one day - (My husband) and I will stop by one day to say hello too. Thanks for the last picture !!! Did the experience differ from your expectations ? " Yes, I expected to have the course but the additions of (i) meeting the teacher beforehand in a relaxed environment; (ii) the informal nature of the lessons including going for walks; and (iii) being able to enjoy an evening meal on the last day were all an added bonus"
Did you enjoy your course and holiday ? "Yes, very much. We absolutely loved the campsite and the facilities that it offered (Swimming Pool and Cafe on site)"
Would you come again ? "Yes, definitely. The Camping du Pre-Rolland provided a fantastic family location. With the swimming pool and cafe on site it provided all the facilities (along with the good weather) that one needed as a family AND the staff were lovely. Our eldest absolutely loved the Kid’s club and made some good friends".

"A truly wonderful experience. Brilliant organisation. High quality. Nothing was too much trouble. (teacher) was fabulous, such patience with me as well as the boys. We adored being in the mountains, seeing children get as much cultural education by touring the town and cafe's was as important as learning the French. I just cannot rate the holiday, education, fun and value for money highly enough. Most definitely a holiday to remember for years to come.

Thanks you again for a wonderful experience learning French. I thought you would laugh to see the books on French that I already own. I shall have to devote more time to them! Dear Ian,
My husband and son had a wonderful time. Mohammed met new friends and he has improved his French very much. He already wants to go back. He thinks that the childrens center was great and he misses the staff and the children. He also met many friends at the camp site and he'd like to live there.
Maybe we`ll come back another summer. Thank you very much for all help! I think we have got very good service and help from you. I don`t regret a cent of the money the journey cost us. It was worth it. Thank you!!

I wanted to tell you that the week I spent ... in Mens was possibly the best week of the trip. At least that is the place that keeps coming to mind! Thank you so much for all the extras you did, Sylvie (my teacher) was wonderful. My confidence may not be what it should be but the experience was fantastic !

(My husband) was very happy to be in Chamonix for his climbing, and I, for my French lessons. My teacher was wonderful. From the moment we first met on Monday morning until the moment we had to say goodbye on Friday I enjoyed every minute with her. She is a charming lady, very helpful, and an exceptional teacher. I can't tell you how much I learned and how happy I am that I had the week with her.
I am glad we read about you in the France magazine, and followed up. You have been very easy and straight-forward to deal with. My highest praises to (my teacher) and my best regards to you and Altiplano. Let me say again how much I learned in that one week, and how much I enjoyed (my teacher).

Dear Ian, Many thanks for a wonderful two weeks and an Introduction to France. We had a great experience with your organisation and your relaxed and careful approach was much appreciated by us.

pre - 2009

Thanks so much for the feedback - I really enjoyed the course and (my teacher) was really excellent and really "got" what I needed her to help me with. I've improved massively with her help and feel much more confident in my grammar knowledge now.

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time Vernon and I had in CHAMONIX at the beginning of January. Claire was fantastic and very patient with us. We have now frenchified our house with little reminders. Hopefully we will repeat the experience soon. Our week at Prefaucon was everything I hoped for and more. By no means the least of the attractions for our week was our French teacher who was outstanding in her capacity as French tutor in every way. Her ebullient personality and boundless energy helped not only with the language lessons but with the various outside activities. I wish you every success with Altiplano.
