ALTIPLANO TRAINING

is a small training company whose director, Ian Joiner, has 30 years of professional training experience, 15 years experience of teaching languages, and up-to-date business experience.

We have been based in the CHAMONIX valley since 1992 and in MENS since 2000. We are aided by a team of qualified and very experienced teachers and sports professionals.

The people you’ll meet include:

Ian Joiner.

After a career in Education in the UK (Adult Education, Youth Work and finally Further Education) Ian travelled extensively in South America before settling in CHAMONIX in 1992. He speaks French & Spanish.

He is busy in MENS developing our 2nd centre offering Homestay accomodation.

 

Claire Delcour.

After a degree in FLE (Français Langue Etrangère) from Avignon, Claire worked in Hungary, Bulgaria and then in Sarajevo, managing language schools and teaching French. She joined Altiplano in 2002 and now runs our busy CHAMONIX centre.
